ASAS Super Seven social soccer league was established in 2006. We specialise in the operation of 7-a-side leagues. Our leagues aim to give everybody the opportunity to play social soccer matches in a professional and good structured environment, where the emphasis is on participation, inclusion and fair play.
General Rules
Regulations and Policies


Objectives
The objective of Super 7 is to promote and conduct a positive leisure time activity, which encourages fitness, healthy competition and an atmosphere conducive for fun and fellowship.

League Schedules
ASAS officials will make all league placements and schedules. ASAS officials reserve the right to adjust league schedules. All possible notifications will be given to teams should it become necessary to change schedules.

Team Rosters
All team captains must complete the ASAS Team Application Form before the roster deadline. It is a league requirement that a team MUST have a minimum of 7 players in a team with a maximum of 15 players in the roster. Players that are not listed in the team form may not play in the league. Failure to notify league organizers may result in an automatic “loss” for that team.

Insurance
ASAS provides no insurance of any kind. Players participate with the “Assumption of Risk”. Assumption of Risk states that players know that injuries can occur during the course of a normal game with no fault to any party. Teams are encouraged to purchase private insurance if all individuals are not already covered.

Legal Waiver Form
All participants must read and sign the ASAS player waiver agreement form prior to start of the season. Failure to sign the waiver form may result in a dejection of the player from the league.

Game Time
All games are scheduled for Sunday. All game times will be predetermined prior to the start of the season. Any changes to games schedule will be properly communicated to the team captains. Schedule information and changes can be found on the website. ASAS official’s watch is the official time.

Postponed or Suspended Games
Games postponed by ASAS for any reason will be rescheduled by ASAS officials. When possible such games will be rescheduled at the mutual convenience of the teams involved.

Standing Sheets
It is the captain’s responsibility to check website to make sure all games and stats were recorded correctly.

Litter
Captains are responsible for delegating litter pick-up assignments when his team leaves the pitch. ASAS officials are responsible for ensuring that captains complete this task.

Lost and Found
All lost and found items will be kept by ASAS officials for up to one month. After this time, the item(s) will be discarded or donated. ASAS is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Referees
The referees are the officials of the Game and have the authority to order a player, captain, or spectator to do or refrain from doing anything, which interferes with the league rules, policies or flow of the game. ASAS officials have the authority to make decisions on matters or questions not specifically covered within the established rules.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct / Captain Responsibility
It is the captain’s responsibility to set an example of sportsmanship and fair play. The captain is responsible for controlling the conduct of his players before, during and after the game.


IT IS A FELONY TO STRIKE AN OFFICIAL
If you have a legitimate complaint please discuss it with ASAS official. It is important that we understand that in any sporting activity, there will be errors. Of course, all attempts will be made to minimize any problems. If you have a complaint against an official, only those accusations concerning misconduct or a complete inability to officiate will be given serious consideration. ASAS will not discuss personnel actions.

ASAS WILL NOT TOLERATE FIGHTING, AGGRESSIVE PLAY MAKING, TAUNTING, RACIAL COMMENTS, AND EXCESSIVE ARGUING!

Although we support competitive environment, however, those instigate fighting with other players, officials, and/or audiences, etc. will be removed from the game. This is not negotiable. If it occurs again by the same person, he/she will be removed from the league without refund. Teams can also be removed from the league without refund if necessary.


ASAS LEAGUES PROMOTES POSSITIVE CULTURAL EXPERIENCE IN A SPORTING ENVIRONMENT. DO NOT MAKE OR SUGGEST RACIAL SLURS OR BAD LANGUAGE TO INDIVIDUALS!

Game Rules and Regulations


FIFA Rules
The officials will follow the international football rules and regulations (FIFA). However, a few Super Seven rules will be added to ensure additional safety and fairness of the game. Should there be any conflict between FIFA and Super Seven rules, Super Seven rule will supercede the FIFA rule.


Super Seven Rules
Uniforms and shoes
All team members must have uniformly colored jerseys or shirts except the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper must wear a different colored outfit than all other players on the field, including the officials. Players are not allowed to wear metal/plastic hairclips, piercings, or any other jewelry that can cause injury. Metal cleats are not permitted.

Forfeits
Forfeit time is 10 minutes after game time. If a team is not ready to start 10 minutes after the scheduled game time, with at least 6 players, the game will be a forfeit and a win will be awarded to the opposing team. A forfeit is recorded as a 3-0 loss. In the event of a double forfeit, both teams receive a loss.

Player Conduct
1. The captain shall be the official representative of the team unless they designate one of the players as team captain prior to the game.
2. No slide tackling is allowed in the Super 7 soccer leagues. Slide tackling will result in an automatic red card.
3. If a player receives a red card they will be automatically ejected from the game and will serve a one game suspension from their next game.

Pre-Game
1. Teams will be allowed pre-game warm-ups only if time permits.
2. Score cards must be filled out and turned into the official 10 minutes before game time.
3. Captains must list the players in attendance on the score card to be handed into the game official.

Playing Time
1. A game shall consist of two 25-minute halves, with a 5-minute period between halves. The referee will keep the official game clock. Teams will be given a countdown warning as time begins to expire.
2. Unlimited substitutions at any stoppage at the discretion of the referee. Both teams may substitute if players are at the center mark. Goalie substitution is only allowed at half time stop.

Weather Updates
To inquire if your game is rained out, call ASAS officials on the day of game. ASAS officials will contact team captains informing them of the rainout. ASAS officials may also call a rainout due to unsafe field conditions.
